Turn any screen into a big, bold sign
BIGWORDS.PAGE is a free web tool that turns any device with a browser — phone, tablet, laptop or smart TV — into a full-screen sign. You type a message and it fills the screen: arrivals greetings, countdown timers, Wi-Fi password displays, "on air" signs, news tickers and more. Everything is encoded in the URL itself, so there is no app, no account, and nothing stored on a server; the link is the whole display and can be shared or bookmarked.
Text automatically grows to fill any screen size, from a phone to a stadium board.
Runs in any browser on phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs — nothing to install.
Supports **bold**, *italic*, # and ## headings, and real line breaks (%0A in URLs).
Split a message with || and the slides rotate automatically on a configurable timer (interval).
Put {countdown} anywhere in the message and set &until= for a target date or &timer= for a duration; an optional &zero= message shows when time runs out.
Generate QR codes for links, Wi-Fi credentials, calls, texts and email — produced locally in your browser with no third-party services.
The message lives in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to a server; nothing is stored.
The entire display is a plain URL — settings like colors, font, and animation are all query parameters (&bg=, &fg=, &font=, &anim=), so signs can be generated by hand without the editor.
Open the built-in editor, or hand-craft a URL by putting your message after the # in https://bigwords.page/#Hello World, using %0A for line breaks and || to split slides.
Add settings like background and text color (&bg=000000&fg=ffd60a), font size (&font=), animation (&anim=scroll or pulse), slide interval, timers, and QR codes as &key=value pairs.
Load the link on any device, open it fullscreen, share it, or bookmark it — the link itself is the whole sign.
Free — no account, no app, nothing stored on a server.
