The open-source search engine for tech jobs
freehire is an open-source search engine for tech jobs. It indexes postings straight from company career boards, deduplicates them, and tags each by stack, seniority and location. The catalogue spans 4,052,523 unique jobs from 600,575 companies, collected from 381 sources across 157 ATS platforms — with every number published live alongside the API endpoint behind it. Beyond the web interface, it offers a CLI (a single binary, no Go runtime needed), MCP integration so ChatGPT, Claude or any agent host can search and manage applications, and a browser extension that reads the page you're on, scores it against your CV, and fills application forms — on any site, not just ones freehire tracks. Finding and tracking jobs is free; paid tiers add AI-assisted applying and commercial API/data access.
