HN Stats
Live AI headline counter for Hacker News
HN Stats is a live headline counter for Hacker News that tracks how many new stories mention AI each day. It solves the problem of measuring AI saturation on the platform by streaming new stories in real-time and resetting a timer every time an AI headline lands.
The tool is designed for curious observers, tech enthusiasts, and researchers who want to monitor the frequency and share of artificial intelligence content in the Hacker News firehose rather than just the front page.
Use Cases
- Tech enthusiasts tracking AI story frequency on Hacker News
- Researchers monitoring daily AI headline shares over time
- Observers checking the time elapsed since the last AI headline
- Users filtering Hacker News stats by post type such as Show HN, Ask HN, or Links
