Guess the album from a short music sample
Musicle is a free, browser-based daily music-guessing game where players identify albums from short audio samples. It offers two core game modes — Regular (listen to one song, pick from 4 options) and Royale (listen to 6 songs, pick from 9, one mistake ends the run) — plus dozens of genre-based 'flavors' (jazz, classical, soundtracks, Brazilian music, K-pop, video game music, and more). It includes a competitive 'Musicle League' with weekly rankings, per-country teams, stats tracking, a two-week play history, and an optional Challenge Mode that cuts all samples down to 5 seconds. Data and samples come from the Apple Music API.
Regular mode: hear one song and choose from 4 options, with three secret albums to guess each day. Royale mode: hear 6 samples from 9 albums and match them all without a single wrong pick.
Dozens of themed versions of the game including Jazz, Classical, Soundtracks, Brazilian music (with sub-genres), K-pop (with boy-group and girl-group variants), Gamer, and Retrogamer (video game music).
An optional difficulty setting that shortens all music samples to just 5 seconds; it can be toggled on or off at any time.
Optional competitive mode where hits count toward weekly, overall, and flavor-specific rankings. Rankings are updated every Friday, and players identified via Twitter are mentioned when they reach a Top 10 spot.
Players can join a national team, carry its flag on their handle, and compete in country-specific rankings in addition to the World ranking.
Track tries and hits per flavor (individually or across all flavors at once) and browse the last two weeks of featured tracks to recall songs you missed.
Copy results to the clipboard and share them, plus follow @musicleapp on Twitter for news, trivia, and ranking standings.
Album data and audio samples are sourced from the Apple Music API, and each answer includes a 'Listen on Apple Music' link.
Choose a genre flavor (general, jazz, classical, K-pop, Gamer, etc.) and a game mode (Regular or Royale) from the game selection screen.
In Regular mode, tap the play icon to hear a sample of a track from a secret album, then pick the matching album from 4 options; guessing correctly reveals the next of the day's three albums. In Royale mode, listen to 6 samples and tap every album you believe matches, then confirm with 'Heard it!' —
Play anonymously or sign in with Twitter to join the Musicle League, where hits count toward weekly rankings updated every Friday (hit/miss ratio is the tie-break rule, and plays lose value over time to keep players active).
Musicle is free to play and supported by ads. Musicle Premium removes ads for a one-time payment covering a lifetime of ad-free gaming. The exact price is not displayed in the page content. Important limitation: the one-time payment applies to a single device only — changing browsers, reformatting, or clearing browsing history requires a new donation to retain premium status.

Musicle is a free browser-based music-guessing game. You listen to short samples of tracks and guess which album they come from, choosing from multiple-choice options. It offers many genre-based flavors and two game modes: Regular and Royale.
Each day there are three secret albums to guess. You hear a sample of one track, choose from 4 options, and after guessing one album the next appears in a new column. You can enlarge the album cover to read its details before confirming with 'My guess!'
In Royale mode you hear 6 samples from 9 albums shown on screen and must tap every album that matches what you heard, confirming with 'Heard it!'. One wrong click and the game is over — there are no retries.

No. You can remain anonymous, but signing in with Twitter is required to join the Musicle League, where your hits count toward weekly and overall rankings. Twitter players are mentioned by @musicleapp when they reach Top 10 in any ranking.
Beyond the general game, there are flavors for jazz, classical, soundtracks, Brazilian music (with additional Brazilian sub-genres), K-pop (including boy-group and girl-group variants), and video game music via the Gamer and Retrogamer flavors.
Challenge Mode (hard mode) shortens all music samples to just 5 seconds. It can be enabled or disabled anytime via the flame icon in the top-right corner.
In ranked mode, your hits count toward weekly, overall, and flavor-specific rankings. Rankings are published every Friday, hit/miss ratio serves as the tie-break rule, and plays lose value over time, so you need to keep playing to maintain your position.
