The missing open-source Kubernetes UI
Radar is an open-source (Apache 2.0) Kubernetes interface that ships as a single ~30MB binary and presents a live cluster — topology, traffic, events, Helm releases, GitOps state, image filesystems, and audit checks — over two surfaces: a UI built for humans and an MCP server built for AI agents. It runs on your laptop against your kubeconfig or in-cluster as a Helm release serving the UI through ingress, with the same features and UI either way. An optional hosted service, Radar Cloud, adds alerts, AI investigations, shared fleet views, and long-term history retention on top of the free OSS engine.
Every Deployment, Service, and Ingress rendered as a live graph with real-time traffic, TLS health, and cross-namespace dependencies; click any node to drill in.
Rewind the event timeline to see what changed before an incident. Radar Cloud keeps events and changes up to 30 days after Kubernetes deletes them (clusters retain events for only 1 hour by default).
Every release, every revision, every value file. Roll back with a click and audit what changed between revisions.
ArgoCD and Flux support out of the box — see the sync state of every application alongside the resources it produced.
See inside container images (image internals) directly from the UI.
44 audit checks across the cluster, plus an audit log retained 30 days on Team and 1 year on Enterprise with SIEM export.
Search across every cluster from one bar, compare workload versions side by side, and get a side-by-side diff when staging and prod disagree.
Humans read the cluster in the UI; AI agents read the same data over MCP. Radar Cloud provides one MCP endpoint for your agents.
A single ~30MB Apache 2.0 binary installable via curl | sh, Homebrew, Krew, Scoop, .rpm, direct download, a desktop app, or Helm in-cluster. Example: `curl -fsSL https://get.radarhq.io | sh && kubectl radar`.
Local mode opens like k9s and reads your kubeconfig; in-cluster mode runs as a Helm release and serves the UI through ingress for the whole team. Same features and UI in both modes.
Topology, events, Helm releases, GitOps state, image filesystems, and 44 audit checks — live, in one view. You read it in the UI; your agents read the same data over MCP.
Radar OSS is free forever under the Apache 2.0 license — run it locally or in-cluster with no account or cluster limits. Radar Cloud is priced per cluster, never per seat: Cloud Free ($0, up to three hosted clusters), Team ($149 per cluster/month, starting price), Enterprise ($299 per cluster/month), and Custom (annual contract, contact sales). All paid plans include a 14-day free trial, annual co
