Remember what you meant to do
Savor is a calm capture-and-reminders app for iPhone and Android that positions itself as an "Intention Layer" — a place to hold partial thoughts, questions and intentions before they're ready to become tasks. You capture by voice, photo (of bills, letters or flyers) or text, cards are organized into Now, Soon and Later lanes, and you can hand a card to someone you trust. It deliberately avoids streaks, dashboards and gamification, and includes teen-safety guardrails (age signals from the App Store/Google Play, AI output checks for 13–17 accounts). Savor is currently free on both platforms while monetization is paused.
Speak it, type it, or scan a bill, letter or flyer with the camera. Savor reads the photo and creates an editable card. On iPhone, you can say "Add buy milk to Savor" to Siri and capture without opening the app.
Each capture becomes a clear, plain-language card: what it is, when it matters, and what to do next. Cards live in Now (today or overdue), Soon (next two days) or Later (everything after), and you can drag cards between lanes or customize what each lane means in Settings.
Timed cards get a notification at their set time; dated cards can have a same-day reminder at a time you choose. A daily 9:00 AM check-in reminder is on by default and adjustable, with quiet hours and a master switch in Settings. Any card can also be added to your calendar.
Hand a card (or a subcard piece) to someone you trust — they need Savor too. They choose Take it or Not now; once taken, only they can change it and they receive its reminders, while you see a read-only copy with a Take it back option and a shared chat on the card.
Work through an intention step by step, review suggestions, and decide what to do next. Uses Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 5.5 for parts of the conversation and OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Luna for public-information research, with OpenAI moderation checking input and (for teen accounts) the finished answer.
For ages 13 and up: uses Apple/Google Play age ranges instead of asking a birth date, blocks under-13 ranges, and hides AI-generated Take Action answers for 13–17 accounts until an output-safety check clears them.
No streaks, badges, scores, public profiles, feeds, follower counts or rankings. Cards are private unless deliberately shared, and private card, voice and photo content is never used for advertising.
Speak, type, or photograph a bill, letter or flyer. On iPhone you can also capture via Siri without opening the app.
Your capture becomes a Savor Card — a plain-language version of what you meant, which you can edit, move between Now/Soon/Later, or let go.
Add the card to your calendar, set a timed or same-day reminder, or hand it to someone you trust who also uses Savor — they can take it, hand it back, or chat with you on the card.

Savor is an "Intention Layer" — a calm app for thoughts and reminders. You capture by voice, photo or text to create a card, set reminders, and hand cards to someone you trust. It is not a traditional, list-first task manager: no streaks, no dashboards.
A task manager tracks what you need to do; an Intention Layer holds what you mean to do until it's ready to become a task. An intention can arrive as a partial thought — a question or possibility you're not ready to decide — and keeps its thread as you add to it or change direction.
Speak it, type it, or scan a bill, letter or flyer with the camera — Savor reads the photo and creates a card you can correct. On iPhone you can also say "Add buy milk to Savor" to Siri and capture without opening the app.
They are the three lanes your cards live in. By default Now is today or overdue, Soon is the next two days, and Later is everything after that — so "call the dentist tomorrow" lands in Soon and "buy milk" in Now. You can drag cards between lanes and change what each lane means in Settings.
Yes. Savor is free on iOS and Android while monetization is paused — capture, reminders, card handoffs and Take Action (Beta) are all available without a paid plan, and product-limit counters don't block use. Existing subscribers can manage or cancel through the App Store or Google Play.
Your private cards, reminders, voice and photos are not sold or shared for advertising and are not used to train general-purpose AI models. Voice and scans become text only when you choose to capture. Take Action uses Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 5.5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Luna, with OpenAI moderation checking inputs and teen output. Savor separately uses limited advertising measurement described in its privacy policy.
Yes — open the card and choose "Hand this card to someone" (or hand a subcard piece). They need Savor and can choose Take it or Not now. Once they take it, only they can change it and they get its reminders; you see a read-only copy with a Take it back option, and you can chat on the card. Either of you can resolve it.
No. There are no streaks, badges, scores or "don't break it now" messages. There's also no public profile, feed, follower count or ranking.
