WikiMasters turns Wikipedia into a collectible card game. Every card is generated from a real Wikipedia article: the article's readership determines the card's rarity, its length determines attack, and its quality determines defense. Players open packs of randomly drawn articles, complete their collection album, duel friends with quiz-based card battles, trade duplicates, bid in auctions, join guilds, chat with friends, and climb leaderboards. The site is in French and content is Wikipedia material under the CC BY-SA free license.
Each card comes from a real Wikipedia article: readership fixes its rarity, article length fixes its attack stat, and article quality fixes its defense stat (e.g., Saturn at 8,790 attack / 6,900 defense as a Legendary 'L' card, the bee at 2,070 / 8,260 as a Common 'C').
Open packs of randomly drawn articles — the more an article is read, the rarer the card that comes out of the pack.
Organize your collection by tags (Sciences, Histoire, etc.), pin your favorite cards, and track which ones you're still missing.
Battle friends with a quiz built from your own cards; the attack stat scores points while the defense stat absorbs hits.
Offer your duplicates in exchange for cards you're missing and negotiate directly with other players.
Put a card up for auction, or hunt for a bargain before the countdown ends (e.g., a live auction at 1,240 with 7 bids and 02:14:09 remaining).
Form a group with other players, chat together, and climb the team leaderboard (e.g., guild 'Les Encyclopédistes' with 12 members).
Add friends, message them, and challenge them to duels without leaving the conversation.
Each card derives from a real article: readership sets rarity (tiers like C, R, SR, UR, PC, L), length sets attack, quality sets defense.
Draw random articles from packs, sort your collection with tags, pin favorites, and identify missing cards.
Challenge friends to quiz duels, swap duplicates in direct negotiation, bid in timed auctions, and join guilds to climb the rankings.
Registration is free ('Créer un compte — Gratuit'). No paid plans are listed on the page.
WikiMasters is a French-language collectible card game built on Wikipedia: every card comes from a real Wikipedia article, with rarity set by the article's readership, attack by its length, and defense by its quality.
Yes — creating an account is free, and the card content comes from Wikipedia under the free CC BY-SA license.
A card's rarity depends on how much its source article is read, its attack corresponds to the article's length, and its defense corresponds to the article's quality. Cards carry rarity tiers such as C, R, SR, UR, PC and L.
Duels use a quiz drawn from your own cards: your card's attack stat scores points while its defense stat absorbs hits.
