Every Claude Code agent in your notch
AgentValley is a free, open-source macOS menu-bar/notch app that shows every running Claude Code agent — including sub-agents — in your MacBook's notch. Each agent gets its own row showing its task, model, and latest step, with a red count when an agent needs your attention, cost history per project, PDF exports, an optional terminal status line, and privacy-first behavior (it only reads Claude Code's local files).
Each Claude Code session gets a card in the notch panel, and each agent and sub-agent gets a row showing the task, the model (Opus, Sonnet, Haiku), the latest step, and steps so far — no guessed progress bars; if an agent goes quiet for two minutes, AgentValley says so.
When an agent asks a question or waits for permission, a red count appears beside the notch. Open the panel to read the question, then jump to the agent's app in one click — Terminal and iTerm2 can open the exact session tab, and Ghostty too unless two sessions share a folder.
Approve or deny Claude Code permission prompts (Allow once / Deny) directly from the notch, using a plugin you install yourself. It never answers for you — Allow happens only when you choose it.
Each agent plays a few notes on its own instrument and says what it needs — a command, an edit, a question, a plan. A plain chime is also available, and sounds can be turned off in Settings.
History shows what each project cost at API prices per day, week, or month, kept locally on your Mac even after Claude Code clears its old files. Export PDF writes a statement of work for all projects or a single one.
A one-command setup adds the crew to Claude Code's status line in Terminal, iTerm2, Ghostty, and Cursor, showing the session agent's face, model, plan, limits, and sub-agent rows; it keeps working even when the app is closed.
Shows your Claude 5-hour and weekly plan limits with time until reset (opt-in), plus token use for the last 5 hours and today with a 12-hour chart.
Open the panel with ⌃⌥⌘A from any app, navigate with arrows and Return; optionally move the panel to the top of an external display instead of the notch.
AgentValley reads ~/.claude/ projects and sessions — the files Claude Code writes as it works — and inspects Claude Code processes and each project's .git folder to show which app and branch a session is in. It doesn't modify Claude Code's data.
Free and open source.

No. It needs macOS 15 or later and is made for MacBooks with a notch. On Macs without a notch, you can move the panel to the top of an external display instead.
No — it is built specifically for Claude Code. It reads the files Claude Code writes as it works (~/.claude/ projects and sessions) and shows every session, whatever terminal it runs in.
Yes, it's open source and every line is readable on GitHub. The app is also signed and checked by Apple.

It's free. You can download the DMG or install via Homebrew (brew install --cask morsechimwai/tap/agent-valley).
First remove what you installed yourself (the notch-answers plugin and the terminal status line, each with commands from the app's settings), then quit the app, move it to the Bin, or run brew uninstall --cask agent-valley. History stays in ~/Library/Application Support/AgentValley until you delete that folder.
