VS Code inside your terminal
terminal-code brings VS Code directly into your terminal. It pairs code-server (VS Code in the browser) with terminal-browser (a browser in the terminal) so you can open, edit, and navigate files without leaving your command-line environment. The project is open source and available for macOS, Linux, and Windows, with installation via a curl script: $ curl -fsSL https://tode.sh/install | bash. It solves the friction of switching between a terminal and a separate editor window, letting developers work where they already are. It's aimed at developers who want the full VS Code experience inside a terminal, and the command is named `tode`. Common workflows include opening folders or files directly from the shell, jumping to specific lines and columns, comparing files, and launching VS Code in a split pane—all driven by simple `tode` commands.
