Play a real 88-key piano right in your browser
urPiano is a free online piano that runs entirely in the browser — nothing to install and no account required. It offers a full 88-key keyboard playable with mouse, touch, computer keyboard, or a connected MIDI keyboard, plus ten instrument sounds, note labels, a sustain pedal, built-in song lessons with falling notes, and MIDI recording/export. It also includes companion instruments like drums, guitar, xylophone, and kalimba.
Plays all 88 keys of a concert grand (A0 to C8), with options to limit the keyboard to 61, 49, or 37 keys and adjust key height, zoom, and octave range.
Play with mouse, multi-touch, or computer keyboard — a two-row synth-style layout or the classic 61-key Virtual Piano layout. Space acts as the sustain pedal and arrow keys shift octaves.
Grand piano, electric piano, harpsichord, organ, strings, synth, vibraphone, marimba, music box, and nylon guitar.
Built-in songs (Für Elise, Ode to Joy, Canon in D, and more) fall toward the keys to press, with Practice mode that waits for you, Play along mode for keeping time, and Listen mode for playback.
Connect a USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard via Web MIDI in Chrome or Edge, with velocity and real sustain pedal support.
Record your playing, listen back, and download it as a MIDI file to open in GarageBand, Logic, or any DAW.
Show labels as letters (C D E), Do Re Mi, or German notation (C D H), display the computer key for each note, and see chord names as you play any key combination.
Multi-touch chords and glissando, full-screen mode, zoomable keys, and a rotate button that turns the keyboard sideways without rotating the phone.
