Turn any recording into piano, sheet music, and MIDI
pianoify is a free, in-browser tool that turns any recording into piano. You can drop in an audio file (MP3, WAV, or a voice memo) or paste a YouTube link, and it decodes the audio right in the tab, draws it as a waveform, and crops it to a ten-second clip for transcription.
The clipped audio is sent to a transcriber that detects the notes. While the model is still decoding, the piano roll fills in in real time. The transcription then plays back on a sampled Steinway grand with a working damper pedal, is engraved as sheet music, and can be crossfaded against the original recording.
It's designed for musicians, producers, and hobbyists who want a quick way to hear a melody as piano, grab chords, or generate sheet music without installing desktop software—everything runs in the browser and requires only JavaScript and the Web Audio API.
